The photographer pre-visualised this half under/half over design before nearing in French Polynesia. Having trafficked there before he was perplexed by a transparent clear waters and plentiful sea life of a area though wanted to embody a tellurian component in a shot. His thought was simple, to showcase a flourishing competition of stand-up paddleboarding among a extraordinary waters and view of Tahiti. The black sloping embankment sharks seen in this design are not dangerous and slip facilely by a H2O as visitors swim, snorkel and paddleboard among them.
